I think TheDark1 still has his running. those were the days when a machine looked like a machine and could withstand extreme working conditions without having to spontaniously combust.

on the subject of the article… whats the story with that story? That Austrian girl is said to have what they call ‘Stockholm Syndrome’ which means the victim identifies with the criminal and feels compassion towards him or her to an extent. In her interview she was going on about how well he treated her. Im sure any mild mannered treatment from her kidnapper would come across as generous considering her cercomstances of being trapped in a windowless room for like… years and years. On top of it all, he threatened her to commit suicide if she ever escapes. He obviously wasa very confident she couldnt for a long time and if she did, it would just dent his Geek Pride and IT superiority. She managed to escape his well thought out secret. Not so well thought out i suppose which is probably why he couldnt take living with his failure as a sick phuq. At least before she escaped, he was a succeeding sick Phuq.
There is something rather Kafkaesk about that Phuq. It must by the ‘Syrian Stress Cycle Syndrome’
