Chaos AD

So lately, in light of all the havoc caused at all london airports due to the arrest of 20 something people intending to blow up aircrafts about to cross the atlantic. Not sure how this plot was uncovered as it was never explained in the news, but it just did and a number of bearded people were detained for further questioning. Them being muslim is a given, so lets not duel on that. As this topic can take us to all kinds of conspiracy theories which means i would have to post this thread under a certain heading Ilpadrino began. BUT I WONT!!!

This drama reflected yet another chaotic scenes at airport baggage controls as everything and anything had to be checked in. Including mobile phones, or laptops. This was simply too overwhelming for baggage handling companies. It like me trying to multi-task, forget it!

Amusingly enough, they literally placed palm size items on the conveyor belts which got trapped in tiny gaps along the way, creating jams and thousands of baggage being left behind and lost. The extra security meant people had to be searched thoroughly and if they had to take their children’s’ milk on board, they had to taste it (including breast milk… ugh) in front of a panel of airport personnel’s. All these delays meant people missed their flights and airliners had to cuff up compensations left right and centre. Till Ryan air decided to sue the government unless they lifted the extra security within 7 days. Airline with big balls if you ask me. But that’s expected as this way, cheap airline cannot afford to be cheap any longer.

Next thing we hear is Dell retracting an entire model of laptops from the market as it is discovered that their batteries have the capacity to spontaneously go up in flames. Amazing what technology can do these days.

Brilliant… so now people have to send their laptops through the check-in, where it is placed in the luggage compartment, where it cannot be seen. That should make passengers feel safe.

Excellent summary mate…
Having stood in line for 3 hours at Heathrow to get onto the plane to Sydney… I considered myself lucky that my dodgy Arab-Scumbag looks did not entice too much verbal or anal probing.. from the authorities.

About 2 hours into the queue.. most people were squatting like those villagers in front of the Turkish Consulate in 7alab.. and I thought to myself.. excellent spot for Falafel Filfleh to open up…

Funnily enough.. coming back on Qantas (BA were too busy to think about it) anyone with a Dell Laptop were asked not to StartUp until after they had spoken to the Cabin crew… not sure what the cabin crew intended on doing? checking the laptop for explosives? replacing it with a battery they considered fit?

Only one question here.. was the man/team who designed the Dell Battery affiliated to AlQaeda in any way?
