We’ve all suspected and assumed this, in different variations. This blog post very eloquently and academically puts the pieces together. Its long but well worth the read (some of the comments are also interesting).

It refers to Israel’s real motives and intentions behind what happened.. and being one step closer to achieving the Grand Zionist scheme and controlling the Furat (Euphrates).

that’s true… when you read Israeli’s strategic plans and studies you’d know that… I’ve come into a few strategic academies and studies websites and read the same things.

I liked that post. Well written and supported. But surely water is not the sole element that keeps Israel going. After all, how does countries like Saudi Arabia continue to survive without any reliable aquifers. They have invested heavily in sea water purification (http://www.water-technology.net/projects/shuaiba/).
The obvious answer is oil but then im sure Israel is not short of any cash. They have the entire american economy to cusioun them, in addition to the war guilt trip they keep taking europe on. The article make sence and water resources certainly do play a major role in the grand zionist scheme, no doubt, but im also sure that that in itself is a means to an end.
